Lot 3107 WINCHESTER 1885 HI-WALL OBERMEYER CUSTOM BENCH
RIFLE. Cal. 32-40. S# 54798. Bbl. 32" round measuring 7/8" at muzzle. Left side of barrel near breech is marked "32-40 / OBERMEYER / RACIEN, WIS.". The HI-Wall action has a double set trigger and a Lyman #45 receiver sight. J Unertl 12 power 1" tube scope with 50mm objective, crosshair reticle and external adjustments is mounted on barrel blocks. Walnut stock has an added raised comb and a curved rubber target buttplate. 11" block style target forearm is fitted with an "E.D. WALANDER" palm rest. CONDITION: barrel retains 80% lightly faded custom blue. Action has faded to brown. Stock has open port. Finish with scattered scratches and marks having small chips around the action.
